When I heard that Givenchy's Spring Couture offering involved over sized diamond septum piercings I had to check it out! I am actually more impressed with the MASSIVE earrings this model is wearing that match the septum rings.

Bande Des Quatres
The other night I attended Erin Wahed's FW 2012 jewelry launch of Bande Des Quatres. Her collection of delicate silver ornaments piercing fingers and wrists, and floating atop hands was both wearable and attention grabbing. More jewelry I think I may be in need of very soon!

Swedish Obesssion
Saw the new Girl With the Dragon Tattoo remake and am subsequently obsessed with the opening title sequence. Still a huge fan of the original Swedish movie (if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it).

I discovered the wonderful designs of Miyu Decay (Stephanie Inagaki) a while ago and subsequently have used some of her pieces in various editorials. She has gone on to do collaborations with Octopusme. Her latest offering is a sterling silver bat skeleton necklace. I know what I am putting on my birthday wish list!

Jean Paul Gaultier does Dallas
After hearing from friends that Gaultier was doing a museum retrospective exhibition in the same vain as McQueen and Westwood before him, I got very excited. Not only to see the exhibition but surely it would come to New York. No, I was wrong. It will only be going to Dallas and the San Francisco De Young Museum before heading to Europe. Never fear, I feel it is time for me to take a quick visit back home and check this out before it leaves the US. Now can I swing it in time for the gala and a Gaultier meet???
